ambiance

Ambient media presentation — a split-screen editor drives a separate presentation display with a layered audio graph. A native macOS app.

macOS 11 or later. Pick Apple Silicon for M1/M2/M3/M4 Macs, or Intel for older Macs (`uname -m` → arm64 vs x86_64).

Install

Open the downloaded .dmg and drag ambiance to /Applications.
On first launch macOS blocks unsigned apps. Fix with one of:
- System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll to the blocked-app notice → Open Anyway.
- Or run: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/ambiance.app"

Note: ambiance is not notarized. The Gatekeeper override above is required on first launch only.

Once installed, ambiance checks for updates daily via Sparkle and installs them automatically. Update feed: appcast.xml.
